"The focus for Rob is always to find a practical solution for his client.

It's never about keeping hold of a job or selling a service. His skill set is unique."

Rob Sadler is a licensed insolvency practitioner, born and raised in the North West but who has lived in rural Yorkshire for the majority of his working life.

Having trained in personal insolvency at Grant Thornton and corporate insolvency at Coopers & Lybrand, in Nottingham, Rob joined Smith & Williamson in York, where he gained experience in helping individuals and agricultural businesses across the North of England and beyond.

Qualifying in 1999, Rob joined Begbies Traynor in 2001 to take insolvency and restructuring appointments in his own name. Over the past 17 years Rob has taken in excess of 1,700 formal appointments and numerous informal assignments, leading the firm’s Leeds and, latterly, York offices.

During those years Rob has become the leading agricultural insolvency expert and has assisted numerous rural businesses to find financial stability or exit with dignity.

Agri Assist was created in 2018 to focus on advising indiviudals and businesses working in agriculture. If Rob doesn't know the answer himself he has access to a network of professionals who are experts in their own fields. Providing the best advice is always the objective and Rob will stay with your client every step of the way.

Rob’s reputation as a technical practitioner with an ability to communicate at all levels is unparalleled and instructions are received from those who owe or are owed money and want to find a solution.
